Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor/Technician to support daily operations at a multi-unit residential property. You will lead a team of technicians, assign tasks, and ensure buildings are well-maintained and safe.

The role covers mechanical, carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks, with focus on efficient maintenance projects and preserving property value. English communication, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–4 years offset education.
• 3–4 years experience at commercial or multi-unit residential property.
• HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on property.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Operations Manager or Supervisor in daily maintenance operations.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians to execute projects efficiently.
• Repair and maintain machinery including motors, pumps, belts, fans, boilers, chillers and water heaters.
• Oversee HVAC operation, boilers, make-up units and booster pumps; diagnose issues.
• Perform carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality and timely completion of maintenance duties.
