Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Crosstown at Chapel Hill. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and machinery maintenance while delivering exceptional customer service in a multi-unit residential setting.

The role requires 1–2 years in commercial or multi-unit properties, a high school diploma or GED (additional years can offset), and preferred HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Property or multi-unit residential property.
• High School Diploma or GED; 3–4 years can offset education.
• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications preferred.
• Valid drivers license may be required.
• Must communicate clearly in English, written and spoken.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• HVAC: repairs, cleans, replaces, etc.
• Plumbing: repairs, replace parts, installation (sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.)
• Carpentry: repairs and installs doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
• Painting: drywall/plaster repairs, painting
• Electrical/Appliance: lighting, wiring, power circuits, replacing switches, lamps, etc.
• Machinery: repair and maintain chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
• Most importantly is the ability to provide exceptional customer service
