Job summary

Ultipro in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting and other apartment repairs.

You will support the Maintenance Supervisor with work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance, maintain safety standards, and communicate professionally with staff and residents. A valid driver's license and a vehicle are required; HVAC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Maintenance knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliances.
• Minimum 2 years in resident maintenance; leadership experience.
• Must maintain vehicle, valid driver’s license and current insurance.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be available for emergency on call rotation as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsibilities of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and other typical apartment repairs.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and any other duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Management staff.
• Adhere to the dress code as established by management
• Use proper protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with staff and residents in a professional manner.
• Complete work orders manually and on the computer.
• Ability to maintain and upkeep maintenance shop for inventories on parts, tools and supplies
