Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and operation of building systems for a major client facility.

You will lead a shift, mentor technicians, and drive the preventative maintenance program to maximize equipment reliability and performance, including conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices. You will provide expert-level support on MHE systems, develop work plans, and ensure safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, and/or industrial electronics.
• Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
• Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
