Job summary

Cerelia is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Whitehall, OH to oversee reliable production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and guide preventive and corrective maintenance.

You will mentor staff, utilize CMMS for work orders, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize uptime while ensuring safety and quality standards across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 2–3 years industrial MRO purchasing preferred; food industry a plus.
• Degree or certifications in maintenance field preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on line equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide repairs and improvements.
• Mentor and coach team members on maintenance practices.
• Coordinate with production to minimize downtime and optimize line efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and food manufacturing standards.
