Job summary

Agropur, inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead in Minnesota to direct the shift maintenance crew, perform repairs, and manage preventive maintenance programs.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and cost-effective plant operations. The candidate will supervise technicians, drive maintenance projects, maintain equipment records, and coordinate with Operations to minimize downtime while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Six years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Experience in fluid processing and basic welding
• Experience with reading electrical and PID drawings
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Must obtain Forklift Driver Certification and HazMat Responder Certification

Responsibilities

• Directs and assists shift maintenance crew and repairs equipment
• Manage preventive maintenance program and plant maintenance system
• Monitor spare parts inventory and reorder as needed
• Maintain and update maintenance manuals and shop equipment
• Apply safety, health and environmental policies consistently
• Coordinate with Plant Operations and supplier contacts
• Drive training and coaching to ensure Safety standards compliance
