Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform routine and breakdown maintenance on processing and packaging equipment, ensuring the plant runs safely and in compliance with rules and regulations. The role emphasizes hands-on repair, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with production to minimize downtime.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience or training in maintenance/repair.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Maintenance/repair experience or training preferred; mechanical and electrical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and grounds per SOPs, GMPs, and safety policies.
• Provide emergency repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment during production.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Repair or update/install equipment; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain and update work orders and routine/preventive records.
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime while ensuring quality.
