Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead for the Blairs Distribution Center on the 3rd shift. The role supports the Maintenance Manager and Senior Maintenance Manager in repairing existing equipment, installing new equipment, and maintaining buildings and grounds in Blairs, Virginia.

You will supervise maintenance staff, drive safety and GMP compliance, and contribute to SOPs and continuous improvement. A technical background in electrical and mechanical systems is required.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with management, colleagues and staff to meet departmental goals.
• Electrical and mechanical skills to maintain warehouse systems.
• Ability to read manuals, drawings and related documents to maintain standards.
• Knowledge of OSHA/VOSHA and local safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance functions during shifts at Blairs VA facilities, including building and grounds.
• Supervise and motivate maintenance associates on safety, quality, productivity and GMP.
• Troubleshoot using 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis, and Formal Failure Analysis.
• Assist in developing and revising SOPs to improve quality and processes.
• Communicate needs for parts and stocking to Maintenance Manager.
