Job summary

Clariant Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician in New Mexico to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and production equipment across multiple departments. You will lead planned maintenance, coordinate overhauls, manage SAP spare parts, and mentor Level I technicians while collaborating with engineering and operations on capital projects and process improvements.

This 2nd shift role emphasizes safety, LOTO compliance, strict permit handling, and driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: welding, PLC programming, machining or electrical field certification/degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and planned maintenance across multiple departments.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute major overhauls and shutdowns.
• Maintain spare parts inventory in SAP and issue parts as needed.
• Perform Level I/II maintenance tasks and train others.
• Drive RCA investigations and present findings to engineering/management.
• Ensure LOTO/permits compliance and safe work practices.
• Mentor Level I technicians on procedures and safety.
• Weld, fabricate parts, read blueprints, and repair components as required.
• Collaborate with engineering on capital projects and process improvements.
