Job summary

National Property Management Associates, Inc. in Plano, TX, is seeking a Lead Maintenance Tech to oversee the maintenance team for a 140-unit residential community.

You will perform tasks across painting, HVAC installations, plumbing, and general repairs while ensuring safety and quality. Responsibilities include scheduling and inspecting work, maintaining inventory, obtaining bids for projects, and coordinating with the Property Manager on budgets.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
• HVAC Certification is required.
• Strong leadership skills are essential.
• Solid working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Able to perform manual repairs and use common maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, schedule, and inspect work by the maintenance staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and inventory.
• Obtain bids on special projects.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager to manage the supply budget.
• Perform maintenance of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Assist in setting up ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems and conduct repairs.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (locks, windows, etc.).
• Appliance repair and troubleshooting.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures.
• On-call responsibilities as assigned by the Property Manager.

Location: Plano, TX

Units: 140

Salary: $25.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Responsibilities

• Monitor, schedule, and inspect work being performed by the maintenance staff
• Maintain a clean organized shop and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids on special projects
