Job summary

Bear Creek Apartments and Villas in Euless, TX is looking for a Lead Maintenance Tech to manage a 55-unit community. You will perform maintenance across a wide range including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance repairs, with on-call duties as needed.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, scheduling work, obtaining bids, managing the supply budget, and ensuring a clean shop and inventory.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• HVAC Certification.

• Monitor, schedule, and inspect work by maintenance staff.
• Maintain a clean shop and inventory.
• Obtain bids on special projects.
• Work with property manager to manage supply budget.
• Perform maintenance across electrical, HVAC, and plumbing areas.
• Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Appliance repair and troubleshooting.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures.
• On-call responsibilities as assigned.

Reports to: Property Manager

Location: Euless, TX

Units: 55

Salary: $27.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Bear Creek Apartments and Villas has a great opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of our 55-unit residential apartment community. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping etc.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, schedule, and inspect work being performed by the maintenance staff
• Maintain a clean organized shop and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids on special projects
• Work with the property manager to maintain the supply budget.
• Perform maintenance of general maintenance including the areas of; electrical, HVAC, & Plumbing
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Appliance repair & troubleshooting
• Conduct general upkeep procedures
• On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager

Skills

• Must have 2-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, & HVAC.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
