Job summary

Aerotek in Minneapolis, MN seeks a seasoned Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robots, CNC machinery and cooling systems.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs, perform preventive maintenance, upgrade equipment, document work orders, and respond quickly to breakdowns to keep production running.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, relays, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with metal stamping, metalworking equipment, CNC machinery, or industrial HVAC systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who thrives on troubleshooting complex equipment and keeping manufacturing operations running at peak performance. In this role, you'll diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while supporting a wide range of production equipment, including presses, robots, CNC machinery, and cooling systems.

Work Environment & Schedule

You’ll work in a 70,000-square-foot manufacturing facility supporting a diverse range of production equipment, including hydraulic presses, robots, CNC machines, and metal stamping operations.

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday with flexible start times of 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM (+10% shift differential)

• Occasional Saturday overtime, typically once per month or less

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63523.00 - $93163.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
