Position Overview: As the Lead Maintenance Technician, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our apartment complex, ensuring all facilities are in top-notch condition. You will lead a team of maintenance staff, perform repairs, and manage preventative maintenance tasks, all while providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and staff schedules.
2. Perform routine inspections of the property to identify issues and necessary repairs.
3. Complete work orders for repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.
4. Lead preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work.
6. Respond to requests and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
8. Assist in training and mentoring maintenance team members.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3 years of Lead Maintenance Technician experience in the multifamily industry.
2. Must participate in on-call rotation for nights/weekends.
3. Universal EPA Certification.
4. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with staff.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
