Job summary

Dominium, a national leader in affordable housing development and management, is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for Crane Creek in Melbourne, FL. You will oversee maintenance operations, ensure high-quality living spaces, and support residents with timely repairs.

The role requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience, proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, plus HVAC/EPA know-how. CPO certification is a plus, and a valid driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems and general repairs.
• HVAC and EPA experience preferred; CPO certification may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property for repairs or replacements and take action.
• Complete work requests for common areas and apartments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the property.
• Assess and repair appliances as needed.
• Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Supervise site maintenance personnel and other staff as assigned.
• Occasional on-call duties with trip stipend when called back after hours.
• Create and maintain a safe work environment.
