Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. is seeking an expert Maintenance Technician 8 to perform advanced diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment in Lexington, NC. Role covers electrical, PLC, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and TPM/CMMS-driven maintenance.

Requires 10+ years in electro-mechanical environments and an associate degree or trade certification in electrical/mechanical fields. Willingness to work safely and cross-train with others is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 10 years of electro-mechanical technician experience in an industrial environment.
• Associate’s degree or formal trade program in electrical/mechanical fields is required.
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics and electrical, VFD and PLC systems.
• Proficient with ohmmeters, voltmeters, megohmmeter, and hand tools; able to read electrical prints.
• Experience in automation and artificial intelligence is preferred.
• Able to replace bearings, gears, belts, and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Attend in person and follow all safety standards, including LOTO.
• Perform advanced reactive and planned maintenance as directed.
• Provide safe mechanical and electrical support across equipment.
• Read factory drawings, blueprints and worksheets to install or repair parts.
• Execute TPM and CMMS work orders for maintenance activities.
• Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and repair accordingly.
