Job summary
Merck & Co.’s Animal Health facility in De Soto, Kansas is seeking a Lead Technician, Maintenance to install, maintain, repair and optimize facility equipment in a biologics manufacturing environment.
You will perform preventive maintenance, emergency repairs on a 2nd shift schedule, document work in SAP CMMS, read electrical prints and P&ID loops, and support improvements to process equipment and building systems in compliance with GMP standards. Relocation not offered.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school, certifications, or college level courses related to construction/maintenance trades highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair and perform preventive maintenance on facilities equipment, electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R and BMS systems.
- Perform 24-hour emergency repair on a rotational basis.
- Maintain PMs and document work in CMMS (SAP).
- Read electrical prints and P&ID control loops.
