University Behavioral Health of Denton, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to perform diverse trades including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, with preventive maintenance and safety responsibilities. You will oversee safety rounds, track work orders in WORXHUB, and serve as point of contact when the Director is unavailable.

Position Summary

The Lead Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision. The Lead Tech and DPO are Safety Officers for the facility and are responsible for making safety rounds and performing safety risk management tours. The lead is responsible for checking work orders daily and completing them in a timely manner with results entered in WORXHUB upon completion. In the absence of the Director, this role would serve as the point of contact for the facility for the management of issues and to ensure projects remain in progress. Must be able to do on-call as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintenance of the property.
• Documentation (work orders, weekly/monthly rounding reports, PM's etc.)
• Cleaning and review of need of outside environment of facility.
• Responsible for life safety, fire extinguishers, and other inspections documentation for reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
