Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Memphis, TN to lead maintenance for hydraulic and electrical equipment used in blow-molded bottle production.

You will check machinery, assign repairs, and oversee a team of technicians, ensuring timely completion of projects, effective troubleshooting, and strong safety practices. Daily meetings, client/vendor interaction, and training of new staff are included. Experience in high-output plastics manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience in high output plastics manufacturing environment with in depth knowledge of hydraulic electrical equipment
• 5 to 10 years' experience working in maintenance field as manager with direct reports
• Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively assess situations and make appropriate decisions
• Ability to analyze skills of team members and recognize their strengths and areas of development
• Professionalism and dedication to excellence in customer care

Responsibilities

• Checking machinery and assigning repairs and upgrades to technicians as needed
• Ensuring that all assignments are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Working on specified projects and being accountable for completion
• Troubleshooting and solving any machinery issues that arise in plant
• Scheduling team and overseeing performance
• Participating in daily meetings with other shift leaders and management
• Training of new team members
• Interacting with clients and vendors in a professional manner
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
