Job summary

ONYX Multifamily Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations at Onyx Bricks on 13th in Temple, TX. You will work closely with the Property Manager and the maintenance team to keep the community safe, well-maintained, and resident-focused.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, scheduling, and on-call responsiveness. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential to manage tasks, train staff, and ensure quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Experience in Maintenance Supervisor, Apartment Maintenance, Property Maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical.
• Ability to supervise, train, and support maintenance technicians while prioritizing work orders and daily tasks.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in on-call responsibilities.
• Must be able to perform physical duties (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and support maintenance technicians.
• Delegate maintenance tasks and prioritize work orders and available resources.
• Perform and oversee general maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance issues.
• Monitor maintenance requests and ensure work orders are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized work.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Help maintain building and grounds and address issues early.
