Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for our residential communities. You will oversee interior and exterior upkeep, respond to resident service requests, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating preventive maintenance, and maintaining compliance with housing laws. HVAC certification and strong customer service are essential traits for success.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
2-5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications required.
Valid Driver’s License may be required depending on property needs.

Responsibilities

Prepare Market Ready apartments including painting, cleaning and repairs to provide a quality move-in experience.
Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance, including painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, and filter replacement.
Repair, maintain and service plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and mechanical systems.
Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with professional conduct.
Supervise maintenance staff, recruit/train, and conduct performance appraisals; provide feedback with Property Manager.
Coordinate on-call emergency procedures and communicate issues affecting budget or safety.
Schedule preventative maintenance and maintain records; ensure compliance with housing laws and safety standards.
