Job summary

Gregory Packaging, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for our Newnan, GA facility. You will lead maintenance on high-speed, automated filling and packaging lines, manage preventive programs, and mentor technicians on the floor.

You will oversee maintenance software usage, spare parts, and coordination with contractors to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of aseptic processing experience.
• Experience diagnosing root causes of equipment downtime and implementing preventive measures.
• Experience developing preventive maintenance programs for automated filling/processing equipment.
• Experience operating or maintaining AGVs is a plus.
• Anhydrous ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the plant's maintenance program to keep equipment running properly.
• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance for automated filling machines and processing equipment.
• Set up and manage the maintenance management software.
• Develop work schedules for maintenance teams.
• Monitor Production Machine Mechanical Efficiency (MME).
• Communicate scheduled downtime to affected departments.
• Perform regular electrical and mechanical maintenance on processing, filling, and packaging equipment.
• Respond to line calls and support operators to reduce downtime.
• Analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and program Allen-Bradley PLCs (ladder logic).
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Coordinate with outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
• Manage projects and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain organized parts storage and vendor accounts.
• Assist Quality to stay audit-ready.
• Communicate effectively with plant personnel.
