Job summary

Gregory Packaging, Inc. in Newnan, GA seeks an Assistant Plant Manager to lead daily operations in a high-speed, fully automated beverage plant.

The role oversees production, sanitation, warehouse, and shipping, with responsibility for meeting safety, quality, and cost targets in collaboration with QA, Maintenance, Sales, and senior leadership. Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a fluid pasteurized processing facility is preferred; aseptic filling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across production, sanitation, warehouse, and shipping/receiving.
• Lead start-ups and shut-downs in a safe, organized manner.
• Manage production for fresh, frozen, and aseptic lines, optimizing labor and equipment use.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training programs for staff.
• Drive safety, GMP, and quality initiatives with QA and maintenance teams.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and support continuous improvement.
