Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at a PVC extrusion facility in New Jersey. The role focuses on equipment reliability, uptime, and a strong PM program, with leadership to guide technicians and drive continuous improvement.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical challenges, manage CMMS processes, and monitor KPIs like downtime and backlog while coordinating spare parts and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in plastics or extrusion operations preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
• Familiarity with extrusion equipment and PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of maintenance technicians.
• Oversee daily maintenance activities and prioritize work orders.
• Drive a robust preventive maintenance program and PM compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the CMMS to track work orders, parts, and asset data.
• Control spare parts inventory and vendor coordination.
