Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to organize, direct and manage maintenance and preservation of our communities. You will lead maintenance staff, ensure timely, quality upkeep, and interact with contractors to obtain bids and manage the budget.

This role requires leadership, a minimum of five years in apartment maintenance and supervisor experience, and a valid driver’s license. We offer strong benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Five years of apartment management and supervisor experience.
• Must be able to direct, motivate, train and develop subordinates.
• Type II A/C Certification or Universal.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee maintenance staff and ensure all areas of the community are maintained.
• Monitor, support, and improve team performance by assisting with skill development.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Work hands-on to ensure market-ready, occupied and preventative maintenance is performed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Obtain bids and interact with contractors, and be knowledgeable of competitive pricing of supplies.
• Work with Property Manager in managing community budget and expenditures in all areas of maintenance.
