Job summary

Gopher Resource, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at the Eagan plant to lead a maintenance technician team, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facility equipment on a 24x7 rotating schedule (4 on/4 off).

You will drive proactive maintenance, oversee planning with production, coach technicians, audit workmanship, and coordinate CMMS work orders while fostering a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on maintenance with heavy industrial equipment.
• Technical proficiency with CMMS.
• Ability to read and work with PLCs (Wonderware).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and drawings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work overnight, weekends, and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture with proper PPE and OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily shift meetings and ensure clear handoffs.
• Develop and communicate maintenance schedules with production teams.
• Coach and develop maintenance technicians in safety and repairs.
• Audit workmanship and ensure adherence to specs.
• Manage work orders in CMMS and document labor/parts.
• Conduct failure investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with planners to optimize preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Respond to emails and communicate with stakeholders.
