Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Holly Springs, NC to lead troubleshooting and maintenance for pharma compounding and filling lines. You will coach Facilities staff, support FATs, and ensure cGMP compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a High School diploma with extensive related experience; familiarity with SAP S4/HANA and digital tools is important. Travel up to 30% during startup phases involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• A.A./A.S./trade certificate preferred with 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience maintaining high-performance pharmaceutical compounding and filling lines.
• Ability to organize and solve complex problems with ingenuity and drive.
• Proficient in using AI and other digital tools to solve challenges.
• Familiarity with cGMP, health authority regulations and Quality Systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, plus project and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution of maintenance on GMP assets, including planned and unplanned work.
• Troubleshoot PLC/automation and document actions in SOP/compliant formats.
• Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff; manage spare parts process.
• Support Quality Records and master data in SAP; provide SME input.
• Read P&IDs and work from SOPs; maintain access qualifications in controlled environments.
