Job summary
Yora Nordic Spa is building its founding team in the wellness space in Portland, CT, preparing for a November 2026 opening. The Maintenance and Pool Supervisor will lead the maintenance and pool operations, coordinating daily priorities and ensuring safety, reliability and quality across systems.
You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, contribute to onboarding and training, and help scale operations as we approach the opening.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in hospitality or related industry.
- Supervisory or team-coaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life-safety equipment.
- Experience with preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections.
- Experience using a work-order system is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day direction to Maintenance and Pool Operations team.
- Coordinate daily work, preventive maintenance, repairs and inspections.
- Ensure safe operation of guest-facing building, pool and water-treatment systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies.
- Coordinate contractors and service providers as needed.
- Maintain maintenance records and water-quality records.
- Assist with onboarding and training for new staff.
- Promote safety, accountability and teamwork.
