Job summary

Holtec International is seeking a Lead Maintenance Planner to develop and oversee detailed maintenance, repair, and testing plans ensuring safe, reliable plant operation. The role requires leadership, mentoring, and coordination across Planning, Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering.

You will guide day-to-day planning, prioritize work, ensure schedule readiness, and maintain compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements. Relocation assistance is available for Covert, MI on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related nuclear discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of nuclear plant maintenance planning experience.
• Experience developing complex maintenance, testing, and modification work packages.
• Strong knowledge of work management and planning processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance work plans for equipment repair, modification, and testing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure work readiness and schedule alignment.
• Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to planning staff.
• Monitor package quality and schedule readiness; support continuous improvement.
• Represent planning leadership in meetings and coordinate with multiple departments.
