Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking an industrial maintenance technician in Abilene, TX to lead maintenance on production lines and support change-overs. The role requires troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance with a focus on high-speed manufacturing environments.

The position demands a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred refrigeration/HVAC credentials and PLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• 0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
• Experience with high-speed production environments preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read schematics.
• PLC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts.
• Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area.
• Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.
