Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Engineering team in maintaining and repairing guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house and exterior facilities at casinos.
• Perform wall coverings, flooring, painting, woodwork and drywall tasks.
• Complete projects such as office buildouts and room renovations.
• Inspect and maintain lighting throughout the property; identify and resolve issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Introduction

Overview

Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service and aesthetic standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Facilities Engineering team in leading the maintenance and repair of all guest rooms, public space, back of house and exterior facilities at both Hollywood and 1st Jackpot casinos. Includes; though not limited to:
  • Repairs and installation of wall covering, flooring, painting, woodwork and drywall.
  • Complete projects such as office buildouts, room renovation, etc.
  • Upkeep of property decorations and cosmetics.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the Facilities Engineering Shop.
• Prepares and inspects daily work forms.
• Routinely inspects all lighting throughout the property, identifying potential problems, and resolving same.
• Responds to maintenance requests and house calls.
• Maintains pool facilities as assigned.
• Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
• Follows Safety and Security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
