Job summary

ISCO Industries, a family-owned end-to-end piping solutions provider, seeks a hands-on maintenance professional for our distribution plant to repair and refurbish fusion equipment. Lead a team of mechanics, perform inspections, and prepare gear for service with safety and quality in mind.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair.
• Diagnostic ability and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environment.
• Interpret technical instructions.
• Ability to use independent judgment and work both independently and in a team setting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Commitment to quality.
• Physical demands: must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, standing, climbing is frequently required.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant.
• Hands on leadership of 5+ mechanics supporting 50 person facility.
• Perform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment prior to returning to service.
• Inspect and diagnose customer owned equipment to prepare repair quotes.
• Communicate with maintenance coordinator and production manager on status of down equipment and customer repairs.
• Prepare equipment for shipping.
• Establishes and adjusts work procedures and schedules to meet company demand.
• Motivate and implement safety procedures, recognition, and accountability.
• Collaborate with departmental managers to meet plant goals.
• Manage the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.
