Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Lead for our Vernon, CA facility. You will oversee electrical troubleshooting, drive preventive maintenance programs, and mentor junior technicians to keep plant operations safe, efficient, and reliable.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance within food or manufacturing, strong PLC and motor control experience, and the ability to read schematics. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food or manufacturing.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting in 480V, 3‑phase, PLCs, sensors.
• Mechanical knowledge including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience leading or mentoring maintenance technicians.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with PM programs and CMMS usage.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Coordinate and perform scheduled PMs and work orders in CMMS.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to maintenance techs.
• Maintain and repair plant equipment including motors, conveyors, control panels.
• Collaborate with production, QA, and sanitation to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, and food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate repair and PM logs.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
