Job summary

Pritchard Industries is a dynamic and innovative provider of comprehensive facility services. We seek a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team as Building Engineer, responsible for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems across commercial properties to ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will develop and manage preventive maintenance programs, monitor energy usage, log work and coordinate with manufacturers for manuals and data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of related work experience operating commercial buildings.
• Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Life Safety systems.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems and equipment.
• Operate, test, manage and maintain all property systems and equipment.
• Prepare and review logs for service, repair, operation and complaints.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain MSDS records.
• Recommend energy-conservation measures and support green energy initiatives.
• Maintain clean, neat areas containing building systems and equipment.
• Oversee any maintenance or repairs performed by others.
• Maintain daily operation logs and annual audit reports.
