Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Four years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Electrical experience is a must.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds intermittently.
• Ability to do repetitive bending, reaching, stretching, lifting, and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems using hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical devices.
• Detect malfunctions by observation (sound or visual).
• Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality.
• Repair broken or faulty machine parts.
• Perform emergency repairs.
• Order materials needed for repairs.
• Work independently regularly.
• Detect and report defective/unsafe equipment to supervisor.
• Observe and obey all safety rules and wear PPE.
• Keep work area neat and orderly.
• Perform other duties as required or requested.
• Maintain regular attendance as an essential function.

• Responsible for a variety of tasks including electrical work, building repair, machinery repair, and rooftop repair
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. Responsibilities also include building and maintaining mechanical systems and involve the use of a variety of hand and power tools, and testing equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to mechanical devices.

• Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs.
• Orders materials needed for repairs etc

• Wears and employs personal protective equipment as required
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner
• Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested
