Qualifications

3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with Real Page One Site or similar property management software preferred.
Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical/appliance repairs.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Affordable housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose issues from resident service requests and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
Oversee the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, task lists, scheduling contractors, and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the community, including grounds and common areas.
Inspect the building and property daily and address safety issues promptly.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repairs after hours.
Make budget recommendations for maintenance items to the Community Manager.
Order and maintain inventory of building materials and supplies.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain bids for repairs and replacements.
Ensure upkeep of building common areas and grounds.
Perform other duties as assigned.
