Job summary

Kaiva Services is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead daily preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in an occupied Seaside facility. You will oversee technicians, perform hands-on plumbing and electrical tasks, and ensure work aligns with codes and contract requirements.

The role requires advanced plumbing expertise, intermediate electrical troubleshooting, and broad building maintenance experience including painting and carpentry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 7+ years of commercial or institutional maintenance experience.
• 3+ years in a lead or supervisory maintenance role.
• Strong plumbing experience in a commercial setting.
• Knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance manuals.
• Experience using CMMS software.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• US Citizen and able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Supervise assigned technicians and coordinate work priorities.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems and electrical components.
• Maintain safety, code compliance, and quality standards.
• Document work details in CMMS and report to Project Manager.
