Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record required (property specific).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and handle financial information and basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Operations Trailblazer: Lead the maintenance crew, assign projects, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Maintenance Marvel: Perform preventative maintenance, handle guest calls, complete work orders, and apply skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.
• Safety Superhero: Maintain safety, respond to hazards quickly, and address issues before they arise.
• Team Cheerleader: Lead engineering team, manage schedules, and motivate the crew each shift.
• Guest Happiness Guru: Fix guest room issues rapidly and maintain a positive guest experience.
• Property Adventurer: Regularly inspect grounds, lighting, irrigation, pool/spa health, and housekeeping support as needed.
• Admin Ace: Manage paperwork, maintenance records, and assist with meetings and events.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in a hotel or related field

Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)

Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR

Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
