Job summary

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees work assigned to Maintenance Engineers by Chief Engineer
• Guides, provides leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Engineers
• Trains new Maintenance Engineers
• Has ultimate responsibility in the absence of the Chief Engineer
• Offers insight, makes evaluations and assists department managers in problem solving
• Performs general repairs and maintenance as required
• Responds to trouble calls as reported by other departments
• Keeps maintenance shop organized and takes care of tools and equipment
• Assists in other areas based on trade knowledge (i.e. plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety proceduresMaintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma; 4 years of general maintenance experience preferred

Working Conditions

Work is not performed in an office environment and requires evening and weekend hours.
