Job summary

Novolex in Franklin, OH is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform advanced electrical work on complex systems, lead a crew of electricians, and drive preventive maintenance across plant equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting, PLC/drive knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will plan maintenance activities, review workloads, and mentor junior electricians while ensuring compliance with BPC and NEC standards.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of industrial electrical repair experience.
Must be able to distinguish colors.
Forklift license required.
Able to read and comprehend basic English.

Responsibilities

Inspect the work of all electricians, and participate in repair, maintenance, inspection and installation of system projects and ensure conformance to BPC and NEC specifications.
Diagnose machinery, assign subordinates tasks and analyze equipment to write preventive maintenance procedures.
Plan and develop work schedules based on equipment usage and implement maintenance procedures.
Maintain material records, determine estimates and submit reports.
Inspect and test electrical lighting, signals, and power circuits; train other electricians.
