Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance skills for industrial environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment and electrical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs and related equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and using diagnostic tools (multimeters, testers).
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Previous experience as industrial/manufacturing electrician in high-volume production.
• Technical diploma, apprenticeship, or certification in industrial electricity; journeyperson status is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Mansfield, OH, including occasional overtime or shift work.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Role Description The Maintenance Electrician is a full-time, on-site role based at NEXXTA’s facility in Mansfield, OH. This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to minimize downtime and support safe production operations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing electrical issues, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, and responding to equipment breakdowns on the manufacturing floor. The Maintenance Electrician will read and interpret electrical schematics, use testing instruments to identify faults, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to implement effective solutions. The role also involves documenting work performed, following safety protocols and regulatory requirements, and suggesting improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance skills, including Electricity and Electrical Maintenance knowledge for industrial environments.
• Experience in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair of production equipment and electrical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs along with related equipment.
• Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and using diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, testers).
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Previous experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician, preferably in a high-volume production setting.
• Technical diploma, apprenticeship, or certification in industrial electricity, electrical technology, or a related field; journeyperson status is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Mansfield, OH, including occasional overtime or shift work as needed.
