Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in mainframe engineering or related mission‑critical infrastructure technologies.
• Minimum 5 years in IT management or a technical leadership role.
• Intermediate knowledge of IBM Mainframe, z/OS, and associated hardware/software technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead NFCU's foundational mainframe infrastructure engineering team with a focus on stability, security, and modernization.
• Collaborate with senior IT leaders, vendors, auditors, and risk consultants to align technology initiatives with objectives.
• Drive staffing, budgeting, and project plans; oversee vendor contracts and support renewals.
• Define architectural standards, configuration management, and vulnerability remediation for the mainframe platform.
