Job summary

Altium Packaging in Buena Park, CA is seeking a Production Operator for the 8hr-1st Shift to monitor safety, operate blow mold machines, and analyze production data to meet schedules. You will ensure quality and support continuous improvement on the line.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, excellent communication, and analytical skills. Targeted pay rate is $27.00 per hour; overtime may be required. The environment can be loud and uses PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Monitors environment and ensures employee safety and security; takes corrective action.
• Communicates to ensure employees learn and comply with specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies.
• Prepares training plans and conducts or assigns safety, maintenance, machine operation and quality assurance training to new employees.
• Prepares documentation and provides performance feedback to introductory employees.
• Provides feedback to plant leaders concerning employee performance and behavior.
• Ensures employees have required tools, supplies and area to exercise their duties.
• Operates blow mold machines and other related equipment.
• Analyzes charts, work orders, production schedules, and other data to drive production requirements.
• Performs and/or assigns personnel to conduct audits, weights and quality checks.
• Troubleshoots and resolves process problems and makes minor repairs to blow-mold and support equipment.
• Prepares and documents daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies.
• Other duties and roles maybe assigned by plant management.
