Job summary

Altium Packaging in Buena Park, CA is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift to operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyors. You will troubleshoot simple process issues, perform minor maintenance and ensure adherence to GMPs to keep the line running smoothly.

Responsibilities include documenting production reports, ensuring quality, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Blow mold experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines and related equipment to produce bottles.
• Perform quality checks and inspections on bottles during production, packaging and labeling.
• Follow GMPs, safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Troubleshoot minor process issues and assist with basic maintenance.
• Document daily production reports, rejects and line efficiencies.
• Adhere to plant policies and keep work area clean and organized.
• Escalate abnormal bottle defects promptly to supervision.
• Move finished goods to designated areas and ensure proper labeling.
