Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Machine Technician Lead in Buena Park, CA. The role directs machine operators and technicians, ensuring adherence to Safety, Quality, GMP, and CPS. You will train staff and drive production efficiency on blow mold equipment while maintaining strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, strong communication, and analytical abilities. Overtime may be required based on production needs. Base pay is $27.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Champions a safety culture, ensures a safe work environment, and promotes safe behavior.
• Monitors environment and takes corrective action to ensure employee safety.
• Communicates to ensure employees learn and comply with specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies.
• Prepares training plans and conducts or assigns safety, maintenance, machine operation and quality assurance training to new employees.
• Prepares documentation and provides performance feedback to introductory employees.
• Provides feedback to plant leaders concerning employee performance and behavior.
• Ensures employees have required tools, supplies and area to exercise their duties.
• Operates blow mold machines and other related equipment.
• Analyzes charts, work orders, production schedules, and other data to drive production requirements.
• Performs and/or assigns personnel to conduct audits, weights and quality checks.
• Troubleshoots and resolves process problems and makes minor repairs to blow-mold and support equipment.
• Prepares and documents daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies.
• Other duties and roles maybe assigned by plant management.
