Job summary

TemperPack is seeking a Machine Operator Supervisor at our Richmond, VA facility. The role oversees machine production, ensures adherence to safety practices, and collaborates with the Process Engineer or Supervisor for daily planning and scheduling.

• Ability to be trained on powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee machine production while ensuring safety rules are followed and meet specifications.
• Assist in day-to-day planning of extruder and converter machine operations and fulfill production schedules.
• Execute and verify settings during changeovers between recipes.
• Tear down, clean and reassemble extruder and/or panel line after stops; assist in reassembly.
• Thread material through cutting, slitting and guillotine sections of the panel machine.
• Provide direction to a small group of line workers on creasing, slitting, and guillotine operations.
• Load, unload and stage raw materials and finished product.
• Maintain area housekeeping and equipment condition for safe operation.
