Job summary

Kroger in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to handle everyday production tasks. You will operate and changeover assigned machinery, follow standard work, and maintain safety, quality, and efficiency across the line.

You will read procedures, verify components, document accurately, and participate in Total Process Control, with attention to allergens and clean work areas. A high school diploma or GED and strong attention to detail are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective written communication skills, including legibility.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and safely operate and maintain the assigned machine and all related equipment to ensure daily orders are met.
• Follow safety procedures including wearing all required personal protective equipment.
• Read and follow standard work for the assigned machine.
• Verify proper components at the work station before beginning a job.
• Monitor product to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and reliable attendance.
• Actively participate in Total Process Control activities.
• Must be able to work around ingredients and/or finished products known to contain food allergens.
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
