Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Production Operator at our Green Bay facility. You will support blending, cooking, and filling processes, monitor equipment, and ensure product quality and safety.

You will also participate in changeovers, sanitation, and documentation while keeping a clean, compliant work area. The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor fellow operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Prior experience operating automated filler equipment and cooking/blending systems required.
• Food production or packaging experience preferred.
• Able to read and follow complex production documents and batch records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multiple filler and blending systems to meet production and quality standards.
• Weigh, stage, and prepare ingredients and record batch data accurately.
• Adjust machine settings and batch formulas to maintain specs and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment with Maintenance for repairs.
• Perform quality checks and collect samples for testing.
• Execute product changeovers and sanitation per SSOPs.
• Maintain GMP and food safety compliance.
• Communicate with leadership and quality teams about concerns.
• Mentor and train other operators across production areas.
