Job summary
Dakota Veterinary Center White Plains, NY is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician Manager to lead and grow our technician and veterinary assistant team while staying connected to hands-on patient care. You’ll coach, onboard, and elevate clinical standards, stepping in to support anesthesia, surgery, and diagnostics as needed.
This full-time leadership role offers $35.00–$38.00 per hour based on experience, with opportunities to mentor staff and influence hospital operations within Veterinary
Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician with strong clinical skills and leadership potential.
- Proven hands-on experience in anesthesia monitoring, dentistry and nursing.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop technicians and assistants.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the technician and assistant team while remaining hands-on in patient care.
- Coach, mentor, onboard, and set clear expectations and accountability.
- Coordinate daily workflow, staffing, and clinical standards with hospital leadership.
- Support anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and general patient care when needed.
