Under supervision, the LPN performs routine nursing tasks, gathers patient data, administers medications, and assists with injections and wound care in a specialty clinic setting.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to standards of care, and collaboration with the health care team to plan and evaluate care for patient populations and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program upon hire.
• 1 year experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting required.
• 0–1 year Specialty clinic experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides basic nursing care following established standards and procedures.
• Collects patient data such as vital signs and reports observations.
• Administers medications and monitors patient response and progress.
• Performs injections, routine tests, wound care, dressing changes.
• Prepares patient records and documents using established forms and systems.
