Job summary

Avir Health Group in Grapevine, TX is seeking an experienced LVN to provide direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility.

The LVN will oversee nursing staff, ensure adherence to policies, and maintain high-quality resident care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. CPR certification and a valid Texas nursing license are required; IV certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and applicable long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that the nursing services Policies and Procedures Manual is followed by nursing personnel, and that it reflects the day-to-day nursing care procedures always used by this facility.
• Ensure that an adequate number of appropriately trained personnel are on duty to meet the needs of your area by developing work assignments and assisting staff in completing tasks.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments to assure nursing services and activities are maintained to meet residents’ needs.
